Generation War.
We like to joke about the French as being "cheese-eating surrender monkeys."We comment on car-b-ques and the taking over of the streets by muslims at prayer on fridays and the no-go zones in the banlieues.
What doesn't seem to get much comment is what response should there be to these actions?
We have a couple of ossified generations of former radicals enculturating our youth via the media and education organs of State, and politicians who are terrified to upset the prevailing atmosphere of moral cowardice.
This is not just in Australia or France. This is endemic throughout the Western world.
The recent riots in Sydney are not the exception, they have become the norm.
Here in Melbournistan, for example, I have attended BDS demos with Colonel Neville, and on one occasion he was hit from behind. When he spoke with the police he was told that he was inciting the reaction and if he had a complaint he could head down the street to the police station.
On another occasion, when the Occupy Melbourne idiocy began, we were warned from going too near the City Square because they occupods wouldn't like my tshirt.
The police followed us around that day.
I guess a couple of white, middle-aged citizens are more of a danger to society than the riffraff who are regularly fired up by extreme politicking from the leftward side of the debate.
So where does this leave us?
As the saying goes, "What we've got here is failure to communicate."
Those of us who do know our history, who do like to engage with more than the headlines, who watch the descent of our society into fear and mistrust and hidden anger, will not be surprised to see this:
The only question, apart from Vlad's, is what took so long?

Hey hey. Very cool and succinct post regards the wonderful preemptive surrender and betrayal of the West. Yes, the laughable plod police were a delight, weren't they. Sometimes I think they're on the Marxist left and Islamofascist freaks side, but surely no? How could this be! Gasp!
Ah, it's the incompetents safer option for 'em, bless their dhimmie little PC hearts.
Yes, what to do. More cowbell?
No, really. Colonel Neville.
My my, I just watched the French patriot video. Outstanding. Gave me a sense of truth and...victory. No, really. Colonel Neville.
I think Génération Identitaire perhaps may be suited to how they do things in France, but their focus on race ("forced mixing of the races", "anti-white racism"), rather than religion, culture and values worries me and undermines our legitimate claim that this is not about race, since Islam is not a race.
Moreover, their use of the Lambda symbol on a Spartan shield is also indicative hat they tend to lean to the Vlaams type group rather than the Spencer/jihadwatch enlightenment grouping and could cause more problems than they solve. Sparta was the closest thing to fascism in the ancient world. Plato was a fool to suggest that Sparta was an ideal society. Sure it was arrogance and complacency on the Athenians' part that led to their downfall, but if Plato had lived in Sparta and not Athens he could never have been so prolific a writer. How many Spartan philosophers do we know today? Sparta was a collectivist, eugenics-practising nightmare of a society, built for war and plunder of other city states. But good fodder for cartoon-like films like 300.
Stirring as the video was, particularly with its soundtrack, and as much as I genuinely sympathise with the great majority if their grievances, I do think they have gone down the wrong path in preaching racial purity, rather than Judeo-Christian heritage and western democracy.
Hey Mike, nicely thorough comment. Dug the collectivist Spartan weirdness insight. Yes, it was no bowl of cherries, old Sparta.
My wife is Japanese, and only Japanese can be well, Japanese, while with the reason ans values of the Judeo Christianity based Western Canon, anyone can be a good citizen of a free state.
Culture does matter and trumps everything.
So five stars.
No, really. Colonel Neville.
Nice post. Keep sharing more.
