The TMI Files. Abomination!!

Magilla's current favourite viewing is a dreadful piece of animation. She brought it home after a stay away, and I've not been able to get it off the video player since.

For goodness' sake, do not let your children anywhere near this film.

Unless you want to drown in treacle.

It should be taken out and shot.

That oldie but goodie. I remember that with my daughter, hehe. Um, of course, i never liked it and didn't watch it. And definitely didn't buy her Care Bear teddies.

They're so nice, Nilk. We need more niceness in 2006 :)

Jessica there is niceness, and then there is hyperglycaemia.

:)

I'm all for niceness, but I like a little less sugar. Maybe I'm just an old cynic lol.

Yeah, but maybe niceness on overkill will influence niceness in moderation.

Or maybe I just like to kid myself. Maybe that's what senility is :)

Never been through a Barney phase, Grimmy, and never will.

Barney is verboten in a big way here.

There are limits, and I've managed to remove the above-noted abomination from the house.

I also 'lost' The Rescuers, because it, too is a dreadful, dreadful waste of celluloid. It was a great book (the original one, not the novelisation of the Disney abortion), so I'll dredge that up to read to the ruggie later.

I remember my niecelings going through a heavy "Little Mermaid" phase. Fortunatly, I had the best kind of kids. Those were all born by others that I could occasionally visit but never had to actually raise :)

We've not had the Little Mermaid yet, but we've done Monsters Inc and other assorted Pixar and Disney films.

Ranma is a fave, although not really suitable for young ladies. Mind you, I like the fact that the girls are the characters that kick the most arse in Ranma rather appealing.

BoohBah creeped me out at first, but it's actually not too bad, and I was well over the Wiggles until we saw them live a week or so ago. Now I'm a fan again.

Can't say the same for Magilla - she's just discovered Roger Rabbit.

As for other people's kids? I don't have the patience for them on a long term basis (ie a few hours lol). I was the least maternal party girl you would ever meet.

Now look at me!?

You're doing well, Grimmy lol.

If I am visiting and that video comes on, you need to promise to do one thing for me - please!

Kill me.
